How do you rate your DNFs?

I've only left a star once (and it was only one star) and that was because I felt like I got a good enough feel for the book before I gave up on it. I would leave a review though - on that particular book I felt like there should have been trigger-warnings and I thought other readers might appreciate a warning.
I don't rate or review dnf's because i didn't share enough of the author's vision to see past the reason's i dnf'ed it
Thanks everyone, you all make some valid points. Looks like I will be changing how I rate those DNFs. :)
those are placed on my 'life is too short' shelf with no rating because I didn't share enough of the author's vision to get past the reason i kept screaming life's too short, life's too short. OMG life's too short!
For me it depends on how far I get into the book before DNFing. If I get through at least 50% I'll usually rate it and do a review. I just try to stick with a basic summary and why it didn't work for me. I try to stay nice in my review, but I think it helps to point out what didn't work for me in case others have the same reading tastes.

Do you leave 1 star (that's what I do and feel terrible) or do you not leave a star rating at all?.
