Hi, this is a sort of political mystery set during carnival in Mazatlan, Mexico (where I used to be a journalist)...but it's major baseball, also.
The main character is an ex baseball hero turned journalist who get's trapped into some nasty City Hall business because of his infatuation with an amoral beauty and his easy-going slugger attitude and references to his games in Maz and the Big Leagues are sure to delight ball fans.
