Hey guys 👋

My name is Kariann. I’m a genetics major and absolutely love reading about science. I think as a scientist, we need to aim to be the best communicators we can be (especially towards the public). I firmly believe that reading popular science books helps me to grow in this, so that was my motivation behind building this group! I would love to help grow my scientific knowledge and communication skills with scientists and non-scientists alike.

As for a bit about me, I love reading (obviously), genetics (also a given), and my dog Athena. 🐶
