Adder is a very strong willed young man, He enjoys the company of others, and loves to make people laugh. Because eveyrone vanishes after the age of 15, he takes many risks, wanting to live his life to the fullest. He is completely welcome to the idea of death, believing that is what happens to those who become older than 15. He can be serious when the time is needed, and he has a very leader like personality, trying to take control of situations when things go wrong and he likes to boss people around.

Adder was born not knowing who his parents were. He had no family and friends. Ever since a young age he would be trying to help others, and actually gave a home to those who needed it.

When he was 10, he met a young girl named Rosie, who was about to turn 15. They became best friends, and he spent her birthday with her. He promised not to fall asleep, so she wouldn't vanish, but he did. When he awoke, Rosie was gone, and he was heartbroken and riddled with guilt. Ever since he's been hesitant to befriend anyone as old as he is, not wanting to loose anyone else.

Jace is one sexy human being and he knows it. If he isn't busy chatting up girls when possible, he's probably grooming himself. If the world's going to end, it's going to end. Jace doesn't mind. At least he'll die with dignity.. and his looks. He's a feisty man who knows what he wants. With his ability to be able to hear what people are saying, he can easily eavesdrop on plans without making it obvious.

[ History ]
Jace grew up in a rough neighbourhood. There were a lot of birds around and wherever you went it seemed like they were following you. Unfortunately for Jace, they followed him.

He had just come back from playing with a group of his friends when a crow landed on a tall branch. Jace looked up to see the bird and carried on walking. Birds were an everyday thing. He saw them in his garden, outside the Town Building, on the sides of roads, they were normal. Jace rounded a corner and his house was seven or eight streets down from where he was. Not far; he could make it back in ten minutes if he walked at the same pace, five if he decided to jog. Jace crossed the road to the other side and passed the Town Building. A fluttering of wings made him look up and he saw two crows on the roof. Again, this didn't mean anything. He rounded another corner and saw fifteen crows all in a line on the pavement in front of him. Maybe they'll move when I get closer to them, Jace thought. So he took a step forwards, and so did the crows. Jace frowned. He took a step back; so did the crows. What the heck is going on? We didn't know. Jace broke into a run towards the birds and the birds took flight towards Jace. Before he knew what had happened, the birds started attacking Jace's arms. They tore the sleeves of his shirt. Tore his shirt off his body. They pecked at his flesh. Jace was so overwhelmed he passed out and collapsed on the pavement. He didn't wake up for another week. By then, most of his skin from his neck down to his chest was gone.

Personality: At first glance, most people write Darren off as a spoiled rich boy, never taking the time to get to know him. Around most people he is exactly that though, he puts on a front, acting like a rich brat who should have anything he wants, but their are a few people who have seen past this and find the sweet, kind and loving boy on the inside.

History: Darren was born to a rich family, his parents being celebrities. His parents were never around very much when he was growing up, all Darren really knew were the nannies his parents hired to take care of him. Shortly after he turned 8, his parents sent him away to Coates Academy, it was there that he discovered his ability for the first time and found something he actually liked, gardening, a trait he started sharing with his little sister. During his time at Coates Academy, Darren was mostly outside around the plants, keeping all of them healthy. When the FAYZ came around, Darren didn't pay much attention as his plants were all still okay. Recently he has begun trying to build a friendship between some of the kids in town, but most of them think he is just like the rest of Coates.

Cahl normally keeps to himself, but isn't shy or grim. He's more of a mysterious, suspenseful based person. Overall, he's stubborn, determined, anti-social, and kept to himself. When it comes to him, it's hard to earn his trust, but not very hard to get him to say something. This sometimes turns into a problem, but he gets use to it. He's a nice looking boy and doesn't take advantage of it.

Cahl didn't have the best life from the get-go. Cahl's real parents disowned him for not being the child they wanted. He was given up for adoption and given a different life in Perdido Beach. He was better off that way, because his parents were murdered in a national news drug cartel bust.

Cahl grew up with his adoptive parents and an older brother. He was bullied and picked on, except for his brother. His brother was caring and soft, when Cahl was 9, Cahl's brother went to war across seas. Cahl then had to suffer a few years by himself, relying on his dad and surfing to comfort him.

When the FAYZ came, Cahl learned that he could finally be himself and actually avoid people. But his heart hurts because nobody he loves is in the FAYZ with him.
