I'll kick this off. To Kill A Mockingbird is one of those books that everybody has heard about. Being from the UK it isn't one that I was required to study at school. It was one I initially struggled with but it definitely grew on me.
I enjoyed reading this book back in school. I think it covers some pretty important issues, and should be read at least once by everybody.
