The Beautiful Ashes is sitting on my book shelf. After reading mixed reviews, I'm a little anxious about starting the book. I'm a huge fan of Jeaniene Frost. I actually drove 3 hours to meet her at a book signing earlier this year. What if I don't like it?? Just that thought keeps me from opening the book.

Wow, nice, April O_O @ book signing. If you don't like it then you can always choose not to finish it. Personally speaking, I really enjoyed it, taking into consideration that as far as I know of Jeaniene Frost has never written a young adult novel before. It was impressive because a lot authors that try to do that switch in their writing don't seem to do it very well, something usually seems off in the writing, etc. If you don't like the book though it's not the end of the world. It just means that that book didn't work out for you is all ^.^.
