I created the above list based on the VanderMeers' on-line list a few years ago. Since then the number of books on the list has doubled, thanks to GoodReads contributors adding books. It's now no longer my list or even the VanderMeers' list. It's a true collaboration of all GoodReads list contributors.
I am providing the link here at the beginning of this message so that people who would like to make nominations for a Group Read can easily access it. I don't consider the list by any means as inclusive of all New Weird. I estimate there are thousands of works that could be on the list, maybe even tens of thousands. This is just a good starting place for the most recognizably New Weird books.
If you come across other lists of New Weird or classic Weird, this topic would be a great place to share the link (or information) so we call all learn.
