We had a lovely freewheeling discussion about all kinds of things: how you can look at bad things matter-of-factly when they are just a part of life; how support from family and friends can be the small impetus needed to forge success into a person who might otherwise turn to drink or drugs; how even the littlest bit of monetary support, applied in the right way, can change an entire community; and how learning through play & experimentation can be lost in a society like ours.
