I read The Hangman's Daughter and enjoyed the premise but thought that it would've probably been a better read in German. The translation felt wonky. Here is my review. It doesn't contain any major spoilers: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I've read the first 2 in the series. They're slow but I enjoyed them in the end. I own the rest of the series but haven't finished it yet.
