Kelsey Stoltenberg | 9 comments "To all the Boys I've Loved Before" by Jenny Han was a very fun read for me. I have always enjoyed romance novels and this cute story had me loving every page. It is a story about a girl named Lara Jean Covey and her love life. It gives insight into her family's history and how hard life has been since losing her mother at a young age. Her and her two sisters Margo and Kitty all have good relationships that get tested throughout the story. Lara Jean has been in love with 5 boys, when she gets feelings for a boy she always found it simpler to tell them in a love letter instead of actually telling them. She addresses the letters but never sends them. Yet one day a boy named Peter confronts her about a letter that had been sent to him. This causes her to panic because if Peter got his letter, all the other boys must have too. Her main cause of panic is that one of the boys Josh, which is her sisters ex-boyfriend, receives one. When he confronts her she makes up a lie that she is with Peter, and this causes them to come up with a fake relationship that will go on for a while. While all of this is happening you find out lots of things regarding Margo, Josh and even Peter. In the end Lara Jean has to figure out what she feels and what she wants which has always been tough for her. After reading this book I had to know what happens so I am getting the sequel. I really enjoyed this book and think all young girls would find themselves enjoying this read as well.
