Mock Caldecott 2026 discussion

Hello,
I am working on a grant for a mock Caldecott/ Newberry award at my school. I am looking for any information you can provide that you did to make your grant stand out for this project, how much did you ask for, did anyone do a parent party/ celebration?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you spell Newbery correctly with one r. That is the only help I can give you with your grant. I do wish you luck!
