Aussie Readers discussion

Hi everyone

We thought it would be nice to have a place where we can announce any group related news that we need you guys to know about.

AND...... Here's our first announcement:

The two threads currently titled Speculative Fiction - aka What Planet Are You From? and Science Fiction and Fantasy are being archived so we can use one thread only to discuss this vast variety of genres which are encompassed under the Speculative Fiction heading.

Haha! No KFC vouchers John;) It's just an accolade as we are a very active group - it also means it directs people to the group who may not know it exists. So we could and probably will gain some new members:)

Hi all.

Just letting you know that there is a bit of a Goodreads glitch going on at the moment that has caused some groups to disappear.

It happened over the weekend and Goodreads is aware of the problem and working on restoring the missing groups. Apparently it is a fairly big programming job but they don't seem too panicked.

All group leaders and moderators are crossing fingers that their groups don't disappear.

So if by any remote chance you rock up in the next day or so and we are not here. Well we will be soon. We're not kicking anyone out of the group so don't think for one minute that has happened.

I am sure nothing will happen now it has been posted - but forwarned is forearmed. Or something like that anyway :)

Thanks for letting us know Sally. I definitely would panic if I logged in and Aussie Readers was gone.

I am a member of one of the disappearing groups - the J.D. Robb group. The mods are very distressed that they cannot contact their members to tell them what has happened.
