I'm writing a narrative version of the German musical Elisabeth. Elisabeth is about about the life of the Austrian Empress Elisabeth, her struggle to gain independence, her struggle to maintain that independence at all costs, the love triangle between her, her husband, and Death, and the collapse/death of the Austrian empire.
