A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.

We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from New York Times bestselling author, National Book Award finalist, and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.

Read it.

And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

A discussion shall be insinuated on the same post May 15. Feel free to join in! :D

Welcome everyone! First of all, sorry for being late with the questions but well, better late than never, isn't it?

So here we go!

1. What did you think of the novel? Did you expect the end?

2. Were their incidents when you just wanted to tear your hair out at whatever was happening in the novel?

3. Was the mystery convincing enough for you?

Let us talk about these things and more in the comments below!

Faizan (mohdfaizanfahim) I remember reading the book 2-3 years ago... I don't its a long time...

But the ending made me sad... The writing was pretty stupid.. such short dialogue and weird sentences...
Like I remember there was one like he shoots me with a gun, and my stomach opens up and comes out everything and I died...
In the end, I enjoyed the book, the ending was not predictable to me... But I yelled that why the hell you will start burning a house from the room full of paper... stupid idea ever

Sinclair family is savage,, i was suspecting incest in the starting and the outsider boy will see them, and they all will murder him,, but that did not happen.. but okay book
