I would definitely recommend the book series Keeper Of The Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger. I would rate it 5/5 stars. I really enjoyed the series! The main reasons why are: it was really fast paced, but not too too fast. It was kind of fantasy, but not too fantasy. It also really kept me engaged. If you read it, please tell me! I would love to discuss it with you.

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) I recommend reading Fablehaven and that whole series by Brandon Mull. I rated it 5/5 stars. It is sooo good. I love every one of the characters and the world. I think you should read it BECAUSE of the characters. Brilliant. I hope you read it!!

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) Dragonwatch?

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) YES!! I have, and I love them!! I don't know if I can make it to Octoberish for the next book to be published!

message 7: by Harper Nicole (new)

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) SAME!! They're one of my favorites. So far, on Goodreads, I have not met one person who has read them until you. I'm very happy you have!

message 8: by Harper Nicole (new)

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) I know! Me too! Uhh, that might just be one of the hardest questions ever. I love Seth. I think I'm a little bit like Kendra, I love Hugo, and I love Warren, and I love the two wonderful satyrs! What about you?

message 9: by Harper Nicole (new)

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) Oh, they're great. I'll message you if you don't mind and we can continue.

Short read (around 150 pages), mystery book suggestion.

Found Audio by N.J. Campbell which I rated 5/5 stars.

I read it in paperback, but there is a kindle edition. I enjoyed it because of it's unique writing style, and by the fact it was able to make me set it down at times from the disturbing or bewildering writing.

Katherine | 14 comments I have so many books to suggest but if I suggested them all I would not end the list today... I wanted to recommend one book but it is very well-known and I think it's more important if I recommend one other book that it's also really interesting and it's not as well-known as the one I was thinking before.

So I recommend The Falconer by Elizabeth May. It's the first book of a series with the same name and I rated it 5/5. I love this book so much and I feel like almost anyone knows it... The book is incredible. The characters are amazing. They are... real. You can feel them. You can understand them and think about them as if they are real. The plot is also amazing and it kept me engaged since the first page. Btw it is a fantasy book and to simplify (and destroy all its beauty because the book is much more than it) I could say the book is about a girl who fight against the faery race.

Btw if you are thinking about read it, if you are reading it or if you already read it please tell me because as I said I feel like anyone knows it and I really need someone to talk with me about the book. :)

message 13: by UnbredSpring (new)

UnbredSpring I would recommend Some Kind of Courage by Dan Gemeinhart. I rated it 5/5 stars. Many things happen in it and it’s pretty fun at some parts. At the end it wraps everything up perfectly. I would recommend to anyone.

message 14: by Bailey (new)

Bailey the BookNerd (bn021206) I would recommend Red Sister. I haven’t read it but I have heard many good things about it and it’s been in my TBR forever!!

message 15: by liv (new)

liv (oliviarose_) I just finished the book “And Then She was Gone,” and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes mystery and suspenseful books. It’s very good.

message 16: by Harper Nicole (new)

Harper Nicole (harpernicole) I'll have to check it out!

message 17: by Bri (last edited May 22, 2019 07:48PM) (new)

Bri I would definitely recommend Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia. I rated it 5/5 stars but would give it more if goodreads would let me XD. It has really good anxiety representation. Also, a large focus of the book is being invested in a fictional world, which is something that a lot of bookworms can relate to.

📚Priscilla✨ (priscillax1f4dax1f52e) | 2 comments I’d suggest Mechtild Gläser fantasy books. They are all similar with a captivating plot, a bit of romance and unbeliavle plot twist. The style is simple and direct, the characters very well rounded, it’s easy to empathize with all of them (good or bad ones).
Amber Dust: why does time pass at different speed sometimes? 16-years old Ophelia never thought about that until she discover she can actually see time. Since a river of time has appeared in front of her, her life would change.

The forgotten book: In the old college library, Emma finds an amazing book, everything is written on it, comes true: she will discover that is an awesome and very dangerous power.

Books jumpers: When Amy left Germany to spend a period in Scotland, her life was almost normal. All changes when she discovers that there is a reason why she likes books so much... An extraordinary power that will allow her to literally live in her favourite stories. But there’s something bad in the literature world and she must find out why.

message 19: by Liv (new)

Liv Bailey (livvy_reads) Hey I’m looking for some new fantasy reads! I’ve read quite a bit and I’d like sometimes going that might have not been seen on my radar, any suggestions?

message 20: by sienna (new)

sienna (holoitsme) | 48 comments I would recommend the "Red Queen" series to anyone who likes action packed books and a good dystopian. I would rates it 4/5 because it is really good, but there are some quirks about it. I would not recommend it for anyone under 13 years old though. It has a bit of violence and intensity. It is a pretty long series to, each book ranges from 400 to 600 pages. There is also a prequel and to side stories to it there are 5 books on the series. Hope you enjoy it!

Reagan (reaganmariej) @Alli, I hope you like it, it's a really good book

message 24: by Clara (new)

Clara | 2 comments I would recommend The Fourteenth Goldfish, by Jennifer L. Holm. I would rate it a 4.5/5. It is a really amazing book. So good, that I read it in one day. It is about Ellie, a girl who is in sixth grade. Her mom is a theater teacher, and so is her dad. One day a strange boy who weirdly looks like her grandfather shows up at her doorstep. I have convinced at least three of my friends to read it, and all of them absolutely loved it. Also the sequel The Third Mushroom is great.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

I suggest we read The Whiz Mob and the Grenadine Kid by Colin Meloy. I rated this book 5 starts, and it is one of my all time favorites. It's time for me to re-read, and I would love to hear thoughts from all the members of this group on the book.

message 26: by Reagan (new)

Reagan (reaganmariej) Caraval by Stephanie Garber , I'm not sure if somebody has already suggested his though

message 27: by Bailey (new)

Bailey the BookNerd (bn021206) I suggest I Will Always Write Back by Martin Ganda, Caitlin Alifirenka, and Liz Welch. I rated this 5/5 stars. It was a great story about a letter between 2 people; one in America and another in Africa.

message 28: by Benny (new)

Benny (bennyroben) | 9 comments I recommend ‘Finding Audrey’ by Sophia Kinsella. I rated it 5/5. It’s about a girl, Audrey, who battles her issues with help of people around her. It’s empowering and funny.

message 29: by Jaylyn (new)

Jaylyn (jaylynya101) I wish I could think of something but I might come back to this

message 30: by Isabel (new)

Isabel (aj-izzy) | 18 comments Departure by AG Riddle. I haven't done a review, but it would be 5/5 stars for sure! It's a wild ride, fully actioned pack with mysteries at every turn!

message 31: by Jaylyn (new)

Jaylyn (jaylynya101) okay I suggest Love à la Mode by Stephanie Kate Strohm

Nari, this belongs in the sugggestions thread. Please put it there. Thanks!

Little Lightning Girl (tommytheturtle) | 7 comments Yes! I agree with that recommendation. I've been wanting to get that book so bad! It has amazing reviews, and just from the summary, it sounds amazing! I've been looking for it, but I'll probably have to go to Barnes and Noble to get it.

Little Lightning Girl (tommytheturtle) | 7 comments Oh, I meant, I agree with the Red Queen recommendation by the way.

message 36: by Sadie (new)

Sadie (pumpkinpi714) | 88 comments Lol

Little Lightning Girl (tommytheturtle) | 7 comments I recommend 'Five Feet Apart' by Rachael Lippincott. I rated it a 5/5. This book is for anyone who likes young, adorable, squealing, romance but pretty sad at the same time. It's about a 16 year old boy and girl who have a disease called Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and the girl is in line for a lung transplant but all CF patients are supposed to stay 6 feet apart at all times because they could catch each other's diseases, but these kids fall in love, and aren't allowed to touch each other. It's really adorable and sad at the same time because these kids are so desperate to have a first kiss.

Isn´t Mechtild Gläser a German author?

message 39: by sienna (new)

Erin O'Connor {If The Review Fits} | 18 comments Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian is an amazing book! I recommend it to anyone

message 41: by sienna (new)

sienna (holoitsme) | 48 comments My friend loved that book!

Erin O'Connor {If The Review Fits} | 18 comments It really is great! I can't wait until I get my hands on Lady Smoke!

message 43: by sienna (new)

sienna (holoitsme) | 48 comments Yeah, I’ve wanted to pick it up at my library I just never have.

message 44: by sienna (new)

sienna (holoitsme) | 48 comments I think the sequel to red queen is the best of them all. Although I really like all of them.

Erin O'Connor {If The Review Fits} | 18 comments I really need to read Red Queen, lol

message 46: by sienna (new)

sienna (holoitsme) | 48 comments If you haven’t and you like dystopian books, than you should definitely read it.

Erin O'Connor {If The Review Fits} | 18 comments I didn't know it was dystopian!

message 48: by sienna (new)

sienna (holoitsme) | 48 comments I’m pretty sure it is, but the author doesn’t make it to clear if there in the past or the future.

Erin O'Connor {If The Review Fits} | 18 comments Oh, okay. So it could be an alternate universe?

message 50: by sienna (new)

sienna (holoitsme) | 48 comments Maybe, but the characters do say that they don’t get how humans used to get along in one civil society, so I’m not to sure.
