What about this. A trans lesbian princess falls in love with a pheasant bisexual girl, and the princess is stuck being a prince that the pheasant has a crush on but due to the differences in class they're stuck only seeing each other from afar until one day the kingdom was attacked and the pheasant saves the not out prince from the attack.

If it's okay I'd like to play the trans princess
I also want to say this takes place in an elven kingdom so they're elves

How does that sound for a forbidden romance

Alina walks slowly, her brown hood pulled to cover her bright red hair.
She trips and stumbles towards an upcoming wagon. Yelping, Al tries to right herself and fails terribly.
Her coat flies off to reveal her hair and face, which was disrespectful in her community. Alina blinks in shock and chases after her coat. She catches it at the wrong moment, and collides into someone.
(How about her red hair is sorta abnormal and she is outcasted for it?)

Nira had been walking down the road, a hood over her face and a cloak flowing behind her. Two guards, of course, was following her as she was bumped into by a girl. The guards frowned, aiming their long spears at the strange girl. "State your name." One guard said with a deep voice.
Nira raised a hand to silence the guard "Calm down, I don't think she's harmful. If anything, she looks terrified." She said. "What's your name?" She asked the red-haired girl in front of her.

Alina blinks in shock "Y-your Highne-ess" she stutters, curtsying respectfully
"My name is Alina Haar'esh" she informs, eyes downcasted as she pulls on her own hood.

Nira returned the curtsey with a small smile on the terrified girl "Relax." She said. "What are you so scared of Alina." She looked at Alina with pale blue eyes. She was always fascinated with strange things, and this girl was of no exceptions. "There's nothing to be afraid of." She said, waving the guards to put their weapons down.

"I-I-I M-my Hood" she replies, looking around "My hair doesn't get very well views" she chuckles bitterly
"It's kinda the easiest way to get outcasted" she snorts, her green eyes looking at the guards around her.

Nira said, "Well if it makes you feel better, I think red looks great on you, especially for your hair." The guards crossed their arms and one said, "The princess is very busy to be dealing with someone like you." The guards pushed Alina aside to get her out of the way "Now go back home, little girl." He said with a sneer.
Nira sighed "Sorry." She said to Alina "I am very busy though, got a bunch of meetings." She held out a hand to Alina "It was nice to meet you, Alina, maybe we can run into each other again, maybe less literal than this meeting." She said with a small giggle.

Alina nods respectively, taking Nira's hand
"See you later your highness" she shakes and lets go, backing away into the shadows.
when they had shook hand though, Alina had set a note into Nira's palm, winking as she stepped back
