Hi friends! Let me know if you'll be reading an Agatha Christie book this month and which one you're reading. I will be making folders for the most popular choices and then a folder for miscellaneous ones too.

I'm aiming for 3 AC books this month - And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express and The ABC Murders. I'm very excited to dive into some mysteries and especially these classic popular ones!

Can't wait to hear what y'all will be choosing!

Samantha This will be my first time reading with this group, looking forward to the fun :)

I will be reading And then There Were None it is a good fit for a prompt I have for a reading challenge I take part in.

Jill (penwiper42) | 20 comments Shouldn't be too hard to find library copies of Agatha Christie! Any favorites I should definitely look for?

I have only read a few, myself. I've read Ten Little Indians and Murder on Orient Express and there was some other book about ladies at a girl's school playing tennis . . . (I know where it is on the bookshelf downstairs but cannot for the life of me think of the title.) I tried Mrs. Marple and wasn't able to get into it at that time.

message 4: by Leann (new)

Leann (httpwwwleannbrichardsoncom) Gonna be doing the Audible version of And Then There Were None. I have a roadtrip this month and can get through the whole thing for that weekend. It is a long trip... Lol It is my first time here.

Kim Kantor (kimkantor) | 92 comments I picked up The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (kind of an unknown for me) at a library sale last fall and have been holding it for our group. Read quite a few of these when i was younger. I’m not even sure if this is a Poirot, Marple, or a specific “star” at all. So looking forward to it and to hearing what Everyone thinks of their books! Thanks again, Krista!

message 8: by Terri (new)

Terri (tee_reads) | 57 comments I will be reading either Murder on the Orient Express, which I'm sure I read MANY years ago, or The Body in the Library. Either way it will be later in the month as I'm still working on East of Eden.
And Then There Were None is so good!

message 9: by Kerrie (new)

Kerrie Hatcher | 7 comments I'll be reading The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and Witness for the Prosecution.

message 10: by Theresa (new)

Theresa | 57 comments I decided to start at the beginning of H.P. series and read The Mysterious Affair at Styles. I am really excited about it and picked it back in January. If I have time at the end of the month I might pick up another.

Kinga Oh this is perfect - for a year or so I have been re-reading AC, in order based on their publishing dates (I have already read all of them sometime or another in my life, but of course not in chronological order). I haven't gotten too far as I am extremely busy and buried, plus I am reading other things as well. But I am going to grab this opportunity to go on with my Agatha Christie project! So I am picking up The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (my all time AC favorite!) and The Big Four for sure. Thanks for the motivation!

Berna | 64 comments As a big Agatha Christie fan, I have read almost all of the books you mentioned except Nemesis. They are all great books, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

I am reading Poirot and Marple Series in chronological order. This month, I will be reading a Poirot mystery which is "Sad Cypress".

Terri (tee_reads) | 57 comments I have three A.C. graphic novels that I picked up in Goodwill for either .25 or .50 each a couple years ago. And Then There Were None, The Big Four and The Secret Adversary. They were published in 2007 by Euro Books and the cover says they are based on the novels of A.C. They are short so not the entire book I'm thinking. There are price tags from a store called Pilgrims and were 319 Rupees each. The next time one of our colleagues from India visits I want to ask about them and about the store. I haven't read them yet so this might be the perfect opportunity. One just never knows what we might find in Goodwill!

Sarah (prairielily) | 26 comments Saw Agatha Christie and had to join in!

I have read almost all of her work at one point or another. Showed my grade 7 class an episode of Poirot.

I am reading Ordeal by Innocence for another challenge.

message 16: by Debbi (new)

Debbi Faust I am going to be reading two of her books....The Murder At The Vicarage and Elephants Can Remember.

message 17: by Kim (new)

Kim | 8 comments I'm in! I'm headed to the library this weekend and will decide what to read based on what jumps off the shelf. Likely though, it'll be And Then There Were None. Looking forward to this one.

Kim Kantor (kimkantor) | 92 comments Scrolling through my Nook app, I found And Then There None so I think I’ll reread this before my originally planned A.C. book to join y’all. Read it and saw play and film years ago, but don’t recall fine details. Her books are always a fun ride!

message 19: by Wendy (new)

Wendy (wmaresca) I am going to join in this month and read Murder on the Orient Express. I read And Then There Were None in the fall and thought it was just ok. But I want to give another of her books a try.

Marie (daffodilbookshelf) (daffodilbookshelf) This is my first time participating in a read a long. I read And Then There Were None last summer for the Great American Read. Loved it! For this read a long, I am listening to Murder on the Orient Express.

message 22: by Bokcamilla (new)

Bokcamilla | 8 comments For me this will be rereads, I have read many of Christie´s books. I plan to read And Then There Were None and Murder on the Orient Express with you.

message 23: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 14 comments I love Agatha Christie and have read several of her books in the past, but it has been some years since I cracked one of their spines. However, this time, I am listening to And Then There Were None performed by Dan Stevens on Audible and it is fantastic so far! I am trying to limit myself to only 1-2 chapters per day on my commute. LOVING it so far and I am realizing how little I remember of the plot. It's like experiencing my very first, and most beloved, Christie novel all over again!

message 24: by Samiyah (new)

Samiyah (samiyahswann) I've just finished A Murder At The Vicarage and up next for me is The Mysterious Affair at Styles. Krista, I almost picked up The ABC Murders so I'll get it next

message 25: by LauraBytheBook (new)

LauraBytheBook | 1 comments Hi Krista! I messaged you on YouTube about reading Murder on the Orient Express. And then when I found out you were doing Agatha Christie on Goodreads in May, I thought I’d join the group. I definitely want to read Orient Express in May. I also want to read Death on the Nile, but don’t know if I’ll get to it this month.

message 26: by Kim (new)
