the Howling Pack discussion

So what do we think of that beginning?

Ok so I've just finished the first 9 chapters and well xD

I love the idea, the writing style and the "mystery" behind the labyrinth.
But I feel like I've no idea what the world looks like... Is it just me? I cannot picture anything. I know there is a sea, a fishing port, houses, palace/castle because there is an Upper side and Lower side. But that's it...

Also is there going to be some kind of love triangle? I mean it's more like a "story" triangle (is that a thing? xD) because so far I don't see any love between Rhen and King but I don't know xD

I love that Rhen is not just a rebel wanting something for her people but she also has a goal, a purpose, she wants to find a cure...

So?

I am very much enjoying this book so far. I love how different Rhen is from everyone else in her town. She tries to take care everyone and find a cure for both her mom and everyone else. I am excited to see what happens in the maze and who that man was she found was dropping at the party. So much to still come.

Me too! I really liked that she wasn't just a simple rebel or a selfish girl!
