Each chapter is a classic fable, written in a way that makes you figure out what happened, like a riddle. One of the fables was Heaven and Hell, the story about men feeding each other with very long chopsticks across the table. One was about the Judgement of Solomon, but instead of cutting the baby in two, they were asked to both pull on the baby. Another story involved chickpeas, perhaps a woman eating the chickpeas? And another story involved filling some water receptacle with rocks.
