Frank eagerly accepts Gerald Oakes’ request to investigate his son’s death. Does it look like he’s headed towards being a private investigator? Since he’s financially well off, how does he handle fees?

Phrynne | 607 comments He is definitely going to be a PI. I imagine he might take fees from the rich as he does in this book, but do some things free for deserving cases.

I think so, too, Phrynne. Not sure of all the details but I trust the author to get it right.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments I also think that's the likeliest scenario. The wealthy can afford his services but he can work pro bono for those that can't.

Ooh, good idea, Veronica.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, I agree that he doesn't need to money so he would work Pro Bono for deserving cases and take fees from others perhaps donating them.
