This is turning into a slog. The complete disregard for human life on the part of those in positions of power is astounding. I would be happy with far less detail. I have to admit that I dread picking this up and have to bribe myself to read more than a handful of pages.
I am about 2/3rd of the way through. I feel as if I am reading and reading and the pages just are not turning. I am going to make a real effort to get through as much as I can over this weekend. It is an appropriate read for Memorial Day.
