Jane Okay is it bad that I ship Anden and June way more than Day and June?..

Seyma D. No it's not bad, I also thought that!

Rae I don't like any of the characters in these books but if I had to pick, I would choose Anden over Day.

Ilana you know, when we first meet Anden in book 2, i think that i'm with everyone who said that they still didn't want him to be a big player in June's life. I mean, we get this type of character a lot (think prince maxon in the Selection or Warner in Shatter Me) - when they are a product of their fathers - but they aren't necessarily what they seem.

i'm really happy that June was written in a mature way that gave her the insight to give Anden a chance, even when she was so uncertain. I don't know who else was thrilled with the epilogue like i was, but giving us such a jump into the future to see what could be and what may be still...i like that Anden got his story and that he was really given a fair fight with June. sometimes i think that i like him more, since he's stable, but i feel like Day wasn't necessarily given a full chance either - since he was experimented on and was on the 'wrong side of the tracks'.

Lauren I hated Anden! Day and June forever. Anden is just ew! Day is sweet, compassionate, and selfless. Anden is well not really any of those.

It's fine not to like a character or like a pairing, but how exactly is Anden not sweet, compassionate, and selfless too? He was willing to sacrifice his own life for social justice and to bring change in his country. Despite being raised with every privilege and comfort, he still genuinely felt for people living in poverty and wanted to make society more equitable. Those values go completely against how he was raised, so they're entirely born of his own sense of what is right and wrong. Anden is definitely compassionate and selfless, however else you feel about him.

L I adored Anden. I shipped them both but for a while I shipped Anden with June more and then in Champion the Dune feels kicked in and I felt torn in too. I loved Anden he was such an amazing character. Not that I don't love June but Anden deserved more and better than that. He deserved someone that would love him unconditionally because he was honestly one of the most beautifully written characters that I had ever come across. He was intelligent, compassionate, sweet, honest, loyal, fair, and he was so simply pure wholesome and always searched for justice. I adored him at times a little more than Day because Day we all know as much as we love his badass attitude he was a bit hot tempered and didn't think straight. I think either of them balanced June out quite nicely. I'm glad Anden however got his chance with June. Can we all just take a moment to analyze what the epilogue in Champion implied about their relationship?!?! (view spoiler)

Alejandra I love Anden, I believe that all the things that he had to suffer were unjust, my favorite ship in the book is Anden and June. In the fist book June met Day and she was like "I love him"although she just met him since 2 day ago or something like that, it was an insta-love, and I hate that, but the thing with Anden is that she took the necessary time to meet him and to know all his qualities, that's and important thing that we have to know. Anden knew that she had feelings for Day and he respected that, I believe that they had to end up together.

Fernanda I had a big crush on Anden, also shipped him with June. They were everything stylishness, but the Day's presence was so powerful in the story, so see you Anden! I MEAN, DAY IS THE ONLY ONE.

Audrey Joan Personally, to me, Anden seemed a little overly persistent when it came to his relationship with June, but that's justy opinion.

Julia O I like how Anden is different than his father. He is also more like June soooo. And we have to factor Tess into to this who is perfect for Day.

JuneBug He is 20/21 in legend and kisses June WHO IS 15
