i'm really happy that June was written in a mature way that gave her the insight to give Anden a chance, even when she was so uncertain. I don't know who else was thrilled with the epilogue like i was, but giving us such a jump into the future to see what could be and what may be still...i like that Anden got his story and that he was really given a fair fight with June. sometimes i think that i like him more, since he's stable, but i feel like Day wasn't necessarily given a full chance either - since he was experimented on and was on the 'wrong side of the tracks'.

It's fine not to like a character or like a pairing, but how exactly is Anden not sweet, compassionate, and selfless too? He was willing to sacrifice his own life for social justice and to bring change in his country. Despite being raised with every privilege and comfort, he still genuinely felt for people living in poverty and wanted to make society more equitable. Those values go completely against how he was raised, so they're entirely born of his own sense of what is right and wrong. Anden is definitely compassionate and selfless, however else you feel about him.

GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost screamed when everyone else said they like anden better. You are officially on my "Your Awesome List". Not a lot of people make it on, but you do.
