Please post here if you are reading or planning to read The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski, Book 1 in The Witcher series.

Please, no spoilers!

Brent | 39 comments I am reading this one. I started out and was confused because it kept jumping around and I later found out it was a collection of short stories. It is good so far.

Fer B | 23 comments I started reading this book and I'm enjoying it so far. The short stories are interesting

Yvonne | 5 comments I enjoyed this, a little episodic with the short story format but interesting.

Renata Riva I read the "Last Wish" for the second time and it was as good as I remembered it. I think the character of Geralt of Rivia it is what really makes this collection of stories interesting.

I've always wanted to read the other books in this series and I'm looking forward to starting Sword of Destiny

I am re-reading this to get back on track with it for reading the series. I remember liking the character of Geralt

The ebook is currently on sale at Amazon for $2.99. Might be a one day only sale.

Katy (kathy_h) | 210 comments I think I will join in on this series. I've got a bit of catching up to do though. Should I still start with the collections of short stories, or move right into Blood of Elves?

I think the group decided to start with The Last Wish, then Sword of Destiny (both of which, I think, are short stories), followed by Blood of Elves. I am not currently reading this series, so I don’t know how critical it is to read the short stories first.

Katy told me about this group and I‘d love to join in on the series. I need to finish another book first before starting, though.
