end of Part 1: (view spoiler)[ I like Taylor, she's sweet and good for Michael. Do you think the guy helping them might be Michael's father?? I know he is supposed to be dead, but when has that ever stopped an author. (hide spoiler)]
End of part 2: (view spoiler)[ One thing that I don't get about Dr. Hatch is that he truly believes that he is creating an improved human race to rule everyone, but isn't he a normal person?? How can he put himself above everyone if he is a normal? (hide spoiler)]
End of part 3 - (view spoiler)[, Of course, Michael gave himself up to save his friends. Though, I doubt they will just leave him there. At least his mom is saved. BTW, I totally thought that when the rats started biting Michael that it would actually add power to Michael instead of hurting him. (hide spoiler)]
Finished - (view spoiler)[ Uh.....??? So jungle witch doctors, huh? I didn't see their involvment coming other than maybe a rescue, did you? How will Michael be reunited with his friends? And we still don't know who the mysterious man is that helped them get to Peru. One other loose end that I wish was taken care of - wasn't the boy that could bring down airplanes coerced into doing that because Hatch had his baby brother held captive - are they going to try to rescue him too? The boy didn't even mention his brother when Michael and his friends rescued him from Hatch. (hide spoiler)]

I'm really enjoying this series. I'm totally going to recommend it to my 10 and 12 year olds to read over the summer. Do you want to read the next one? No pressure.

Yes. I wanna read the next one. I am hoping to finish book 2 by tomorrow.

So I had book three, but it expired are you okay with waiting to continue this series when I get it?
Overdrive says its about a 2 week wait.

Also I am hope to finish book two soon.

I can wait a little for book 3. I have it now, but no one is waiting for it, so I should be able to renew. No biggie.

Ch 17 (approx 50%) - (view spoiler)[ I admire Michael's loyalty to his friends and his perseverance - he rarely doubts that his ability to take on these big enemies. (hide spoiler)]
Ch 29 (approx 75%) - (view spoiler)[ Maybe it's a good idea that they are splitting up. I mean as helpful as all their abilities have been, maybe it is better if they aren't all in one place for the Elgen to capture. I feel bad about Wade. It sucks when an author kills someone off - I mean it makes it more realistic, but it still sucks. (hide spoiler)]

Finished - (view spoiler)[ Aw, that was awesome how everyone came back to help. Of course, Hatch got away. I knew the minute Michael admitted that he had a bomb on the boat, Hatch would leave the ship. And it was so sweet that Taylor and Michael are thinking about getting married in the future. So adorable when 15-year-olds think they know everything. (hide spoiler)]

I also like how the author is bringing in a new character with the Jade Dragon; however, I think I need to take a break from this series for a little while. Maybe I'll pick it up again toward the end of summer.

I fell behind, but hope to start this one today.

Part 3 (view spoiler)[ So Hatch has overtaken the chairman's ship. I wonder how he plans to make sure this works. I know he will figure something out because he always does. Lets just hope its not to bad for Michael and the Electroclan to fix. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 16. (view spoiler)[ This chapter was pretty hard. The voice allows Jamie to help Michael, and knows the group has been compromised. We also learned that the Puruvian Army wiped out the Amacarra tribe. (hide spoiler)]
