This World We Live In discussion

I think that the theme of "This world we live in" is something along the lines of "Believe in tomorrow". Evidence for this comes in different characters' viewpoints, with the main character believing that there won't be any tomorrow, The mother believing firmly in tomorrow, and Alex believing that you have to believe in tomorrow. The plot of the book also helps support this, as it is entirely about living tomorrow and the stresses of doing such.
