I don't know where to begin other than seeing Eight again for a short brief of time had me screaming in agony all over again that he isn't coming back. Also whatever Lorien the planet calls itself it better not give all of the humans on earth powers. I can only imagine what the bad people would do with those kinds of powers, shivering at the thought. Yep so Lorien is like God and shall grace the earth and people among it with powers like John. It was cool seeing Sam use his powers to protect John he was like did I just do that? I'm like hell yeah. Also Nine is so bad, he had me laughing when he was like Five is here, and I'm going to smash his fat face in lmao... :D

I so do not want lorien to give any humans powers. No No No. Only the loric can have powers, if everyone does they wont be as bad ass. But sam can have some. Also im so mad about eight. I thought he was coming back to life forever.
Well, dead is dead, I guess. So right after I learned about the prophecy it was quite obvious that Eight was marked as dead from there on. One could just keep on reading til that inevitable scene. His death was pretty dumb, though.

No, don't get me wrong. I like super badass marina, I just didn't like how she was acting towards everyone. Nine at first, which was understandable to a point. Then to adam, and he did nothing wrong.

Totally agree with you guys (marina was fine in bith ways) buti just have to say, we need the next BOOK BADLY...
the humans have to receive legacies because the whole point was rebuilding lorien on earth!!! the question is whether humans can overcome their power hungry natures to recreate lorien's peaceful and stable culture as well as it's physical properties.earth becoming the new lorien also solves the problem of loric-human couples.
Yeah, so humans and lorics will be working together and defeating the mogs, but I can't imagine them to be so cruel to extinguish the entire mogadorian race.I mean they do have moral standards compared with the mogs, don't they?
I was kind of bummed when we learned that they wernt going back to lorien. They kind of built it up this entire time, about leaving and finding a spaceship, but they have to stay. Booo.
Aliza wrote: "the humans have to receive legacies because the whole point was rebuilding lorien on earth!!! the question is whether humans can overcome their power hungry natures to recreate lorien's peaceful an..."In real life I doubt that very much we will overcome the human nature of killing, stealing, and so many other things that I haven't list. Though in a book yes I guess they can do whatever they want with it.
The facts that the book ended in this way:"Holy shit" He says. "Did I just do that?"
THEN THE END
WUUUTTT???? Gimme le next book!
And when Sam said that, I was kind of thinking bout how Marina said that "Lorien" or was it Loralite? was spreading everywhere, I was thinking that maybe it was THAT who used telekinesis to get the creature off John.....
Drea Margo wrote: "And when Sam said that, I was kind of thinking bout how Marina said that "Lorien" or was it Loralite? was spreading everywhere, I was thinking that maybe it was THAT who used telekinesis to get the creature off John....." Of course it was Lorien's legacies (which rests also in humans like Sam now) that make Sam use telekinesis. Given the hint from the Lorien-deity-thing it seems to be the only rational explanation for that ending. There might be a probability of 5% percent that it was another Garde, but who? They were all busy, weren't they? It's been a week that I've read the book....I only remember Five and Nine fighting.
But if it really WAS another Garde, then that would be a bad end totally misleading the reader. And after having read so many books of the series, I don't think that is the case.
Misaki wrote: "Aliza wrote: "the humans have to receive legacies because the whole point was rebuilding lorien on earth!!! the question is whether humans can overcome their power hungry natures to recreate lorien..."you're absolutely right...but that is what's so special about books. you can create scenarios that can never happen in real life, better humanity.

I wonder is there's a possibility that (Call me crazy) if Pittacus Lore would ever come back... even though they did find his skeleton........
And if it is another Garde.... then........ 1-3 are dead, 4 busy along with Sam, 5 and 9 fighting, 6,7, and Adam in the temple....... 8 dead... Soooo...?
Carla wrote: "please tell me there will be a book 6?"yes there will be and it'll be the last one i think.
Did Sam really DO that? What the hell! Maybe he's another garde! LOL. But I think it's Lorien itself protecting the earth. Hmmmmm..
