So far, it looks like a summer drought for August on my shelf with juts one book..
The Importance of Being Wilde at Heart by R. Zamora Linmark releases Aug. 13th.
I read an ARC of Swipe Right for Murder. It's out August 6th. I love the book. It's by Derek Milman, who wrote Scream All Night, and it's a Hitchcockian style YA thriller with an unapologetically queer focus and the MC is gay. He's a great, funny, unlikely action hero. The book is edge of your seat suspenseful, and also really groundbreaking in several ways, with an unexpected and sweet romance.
..
Ziggy, Stardust and Me by James Brandon released Aug. 6th.
Golden like Summer by Gene Gant released Aug. 6th.
Boy Shattered by Eli Easton releases Aug. 13th.
Fence, Vol. 3 by C.S. Pacat releases Aug. 20th.
I Dare You to Break Curfew by Eva Munoz releases Aug. 20th.
I had no idea about
Let's Call It a Doomsday, and I am LOSING MY SHIT. Thank you to the lgbtqreads insta, because otherwise, I would not know there's a book with an ANXIOUS, BICURIOUS, MORMON GIRL that came out nearly two weeks ago! (Released 6th August.)Am I late to the party, or did no one else know about this one either?
