Welcome to the team, Destiny! <3
I love how your life sounds ^_^.

Name is Rahma (unsurprisingly). Graduated back in November - studied Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto. Still looking for a full-time job, but working as a part-time tutor in the mean time.
Apart from reading, I spend a lot of time watching tv shows. My current obsessions are Game of Thrones (what a surprise) and For the People (which was just cancelled, unfortunately).
I also love writing fiction, and a lot of it is inspired by music. Speaking of which, my favourite music genre is Symphonic Metal, but I listen to almost all other genres (with the exception of rap).

I've loved reading for a very long time. The first read I remember loving was Twilight. I love reading YA, and have countless books I want to read. My favorite series is the Lunar Chronicles by Marisa Meyer. I don't have a particular favorite author because I like to read many different things. For movie and TV show tastes, I'm a sucker for anything chick flick or drama related. I love the show Friends, Gossip Girl, and The Vampire Diaries (although I have not read GG or TVD). I'm currently an English Creative Writing major. I love writing, but I'm hesitant to share that work with people quite yet. I dabble with gaming sometimes, but I mostly play the Sims, haha.
Hello, my name is Alex. Thanks for the invite. I really would like to do one of these, IF I can manage to stay up past 9 pm. I am a stay at home mother. I graduated from U of M with a Biology Degree. Majority of the time I teach my children. I love doing science experiments with them.
Currently, I play a lot of WoW when the kiddies go to bed and with my husband, I knit, I am teaching myself how to the play the guitar and German. I find it absolutely funny that my 4 year old can remember more German words than I. I am trying to write a fantasy novel, and I do like to write some poetry when I am in the mood.

Found you thu a friend I follow. I'm a blogger and a young adult selector for a library and a co helper with an online book club.
Love to read anything and love to make wacky comments about books.

I want to learn German too! And it's normal for kids to learn faster, as their brains are like a sponge.
I also want to write a fantasy novel. The first in a series.

Hello! Sure, it's okay! Whenever you find time. ^_^
OMG! The Wizard of Oz was my first novel as well!! But this was in 4th grade for me! Before that I was reading kids stories. But after The Wizard of Oz I started reading novels and fantasy is, until this day, my favourite genre.
And you could be even better than Anne Rice! You just have to challenge yourself and not have peace until you feel fully satisfied with your work!
I love to photograph every thing, too! :)) We have so many things in common. Nice to meet you, Laura!

Hello and welcome!
Your profession sounds amazing! <3

I am Lionella (obviously) & since I'm new here I figured I'd start by introducing myself.
I started to love reading somewhere in the 7th grade and the book that introduced me in this world is Looking For Alaska by John Green, who afterwords became one of my favorite authors to come back to. Also, Agatha Christie was the one to teach me how to not put a book down hahah.
Now I'm 17, my current favorite author is Murakami, but of course I have a huge list including Kafka, Orwell, Paler, the two mentioned above and so much more.
Speaking of favorites, I couldn't ever choose a favorite book. From my latest reads I can strongly admit that through this list counts A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backmann, 1984 by Orwell, Fahrenheit 451 by Bradbury and The 25th Hour by Virgil Gheorghiu.
Hmm, if you ask me about movies, I hardly ever watch those. I guess I'm in love with pretty much everything starring Audrey Hepburn or Anne Hathaway. I'm pretty much into the old stuff, but from the newer ones I adored The Theory Of Everything based on Stephen Hawking's life (even started reading A Brief History Of Time after watching it even though I suck at physics hah).
I don't watch TV Shows anymore, but Friends is always a good idea. I have previously seen lots of TV Shows, you name it) (other than GOT).
Right now I'm in high-school so I study pretty much everything they're making me to lol.
Since I am only 17, I can't officially work, but occasionally I am a translator (English - Romanian) for certain events.
Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Acting, Dancing around, Living life.
Glad to be a part of this! ^^

I started to read with my dad when I was very young, first with Roald Dahl and then Harry Potter. My favourite authors (includes the afore mentioned) are Philip Pullman, Tolkein, Holly Black, Lemony Snicket, and most recently Genevieve Cogman.
I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and I love to read pretty much anything fantasy/magical realism and mystery. I'm also trying to make an effort to read more classics too!

Ok, I started out reading R.L. Stine’s Fear Street books. Then from there I practically jumped into Anne Rice and that changed my life. Now I read all kinds of different horror.
My favorite authors, just to name a few- Anne Rice, Grady Hendrix, Patricia Briggs, J.K Rowling (hufflepuff here!) Charmaine Harris, Adam Nevill, Ania Ahlborn... I could go on forever.
My favorite tv shows are I Dream of Jeanie, The Munsters, BBC being human, lost girl, blood ties, Poldark, call the midwife and The Dead Files.
I work in a factory, I weld car parts.
And my hobbies are reading, my plants, and aggravating my cat!

I'm always ready! :)) You can send me a list or simply click on "recommend this book" and send me all the books you want! I would need some novels. And no ghosts. Books that have spirits as demons or dark entities are okay as long as they are realistic. Thank you so much for the invite :) I've never done a reading challenge before so this is new for me.
I've always been a reader ever since I was little but I believe I would give credit to the Harry Potter series since I was a lot more devoted to reading after finishing all seven books, which is one of the reasons why Harry Potter will always be my all time favourite. My other favourite novels are Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, The Sun Is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and the Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke.
My favourite TV series would be Friends, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. My hobbies would be reading (most definitely), writing (currently writing a book actually), listening to music (mostly Avril Lavigne, Arrows To Athens and Imagine Dragons these days), playing the piano, travelling, graphics designing, watching anime and sketching.
Currently I just finished my A Levels (struggled through it more like) and now I'm taking a gap year. I'm not quite sure as to what field I'll be studying later but it would either be English Lit, Psychology or Media.
I don't think I can complete all the challenges but I'll try my best to. Thank you for the invite once more! :))

I guess Narnia (only watched 2 movies but loved it a lot and I also want to read the books!); I also recommend His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. I've read the first book and loved it!
Also a winter-y fantasy book that I liked (although it isn't the best out there) is the first book in "The Wolves of Mercy Falls" by Maggie Stiefvater.
Also the "Vampire Academy" series has winter-y moments. :)

My name is Clara and I'm from Brazil. I'm 20 years old and, currently, i'm finishing my fourth year as a medical student (here in Brazil, we have to study 6 years to graduate as a doctor), and I LOVE what I do! My plan is to, hoperfully, become a neurologist or a neurosurgeon after I graduate.
I've LOVED reading as long as I remeber - I learned how to read and write when I was only 3, so I've been enjoying books for about 17 years. 😂
I usually read from a variety of genres, so my fave authors range from Stephen King to Tessa Dare, Maggie Stiefvater, Libba Bray, Brandon Sanderson. I'm not someone who has a favorite book of all time, but some of my fave books were written by the previously cited authors. When it comes to TV shows/movies, I love Brooklyn 99, Supernatural, Sex and the City, The Haunting of Hill House, Lucifer, Friends. And honestly, I don't really enjoy watching movies (don't know why 😂).
My favorite hobbies are obviously reading, going to the gym (I love working out daily), hanging out with my friends and family, searching/reading about the Romanovs.
Ps: Sorry for any vocabulary/gramatical errors, because English is not my first language. Hopefully, you were all able to get to know me a little! ✨

a bit about me: my name is jessica, i live in Georgia, USA, and I will be 24 in five days! I've been reading for as long as i can remember, and one of my favorite things is looking through old books at my parents house and finding stuff i was reading when i was way little lol.
my all time favorite book is Six of Crows. it's actually the first book to ever make it to my number one favorite in my 24 years of life. As for other books i love, there's an extreme abundance, but overall my favorite genre is fantasy. I've never been able to pick a favorite movie or tv show because there's always too many and it varies depending on my mood.
I graduated from college last year with a degree in English. I was working as a techncial writer, but at the moment i am currently in between jobs so i'm searching for work but also just chilling and kinda enjoying having freedom.
Other than reading, I used to dance basically 24/7, but i also write, enjoy watching random shows and movies, and have recently entered into the world of gaming.

Thanks for the invite! This sounds like a fun challenge! I'll be looking to other people for what books to read because I have no clue :)
My mother got me reading short fiction when I was seven, and I wrote my first novel almost a decade later (i.e. it took me that long to transition to actually writing a full length work). Now I consider myself a writer - I'm writing my sixth book that I hope to query next year. I'm studying English literature - and loving it! - and am a huge huge huge fan of the classics (Hello Jane Austen and Emily Bronte - yes, you, madam, yours was the first novel I ever read...)
Happy reading, everyone, and let's make December as fun and bookish as we can.
