Barb Jingles, this seemed like the most logical place for me to post this. If you'd like me to post it in a different folder somewhere, let me know :)

For those of you, like me, who use FictFact to keep your series reading organized, you'll be saddened to learn that the site has closed. If you go to the site now, you'll see this:

We recently lost our primary source of income, Amazon Associate sales. Due to a minor error on our part, we unknowingly had in infraction of their terms. We tried to appeal after we corrected the issue, but was not successful and they terminated our account. Over the years, we have had donations from our wonderful supporters, but it is not enough to cover our operating costs. We are extremely sad to have to close down the site after almost 10 years. Thank you for all your support over the years!!

There is a link where you can download your book data as a .csv file until July 1. If anyone knows of a site that might work as a substitute for FictFact, please let me know!

This is just fine, Barb. Thank you so much for letting us know. This saddens me truly, as I use this website to keep track of my series. I'm on the lookout for something similar that will be of help to us, and I hope others will be too.

I thought I would post an update here of some information Barb and Karen found. Barb and Karen, I hope you don't mind me sharing here what you all posted in ACATT.

There is a site FcitionDB, where you might be able to track your series books. I don't know much about it, but it might be an alternative to FictFact.

Karen also mentioned a webiste - FactasticFiction - which may prove useful as well.

Hopefully either one of these will help in the transition from FictFact. Of course, since I rarely like change, my preference would be to have FictFact back :)

Again, I've not tried either of these two websites for tracking series books, so I'm no help in that way.

Don't mind at all, jingles. I too wish we could have FictFact back, but that doesn't appear to be an option.
