Sally906 | 94 comments JUNE - A HOT & COLD READING CHALLENGE

Easy level: 4 books (at least 1 Aussie author) – one from each task
Medium level: 8 books (at least 2 Aussie authors) – two from each task

June is winter in Australia and our thoughts are for hot chocolate, warm fireplaces, cozy pajamas and fuzzy slippers any thing to make us feel warm!

However if you are in the northern hemisphere it is summer and your thoughts are for beaches, ice creams and maxed out air conditioning - anything to make you feel cool!

So, because we have members from both hemispheres we are going to let you decide whether to read for hot weather or cold. You can read for both seasons, all winter or all summer, or mix it up and have some of each.

1. Read a book with either a Summer or a Winter scene on the cover
2. Read a book with a title that evokes either Summer or Winter
3. Read a book that is set in either winter or summer
4. Read a book that is described as a ‘beach’ book or a book that warms your heart.

AND DON'T FORGET

1. Our guidelines HERE

2. Please include pictures of the book covers especially when the task requires something to be on the cover - for example if you pick the task that needs a cat or a specific colour on the cover - then we need to see those covers as we don't have time to click on each link to go and check :)
