So would be some novels that mix Time Travel storytelling with exciting action?

I'm a fan of time travel action/adventure myself and always looking for more in that category. It's not always easy to find.
It's not only time travel related, but the Thursday Next series is awsome. It starts with a book called The Eyre Affair.

Leo Frankowski's Conrad Stargard books, beginning with The Cross-Time Engineer, are good, if you can deal with his less-than-PC treatment of women. Time-travel is only part of the setup: Once Conrad is back in medieval Poland, he stays.Lest Darkness Fall, by L. Sprague de Camp, has a similar premise, but without the non-PC stuff.
