Hi there & thanks for getting in touch. I love a variety of authors for different reasons from Cassie Clare to Jill Santopolo and Agatha Christie. Nevertheless, I mostly read indie authors in full support of my fellow colleagues who go through the whole 9 yards of self-publishing.

As a content creator for upcoming writers I support and promote all the wonderful professionals in the writing industry. From internationally bestselling authors to indie authors, editors, book cover designers, I've had the pleasure to interview and promote their work through a series of interviews available here: https://estherrabbit.com/category/int...

So if you too are a member of the writing community, do not hesitate to get in touch with me, I'd love to spread the word about what you do best.

Antonella Hello....Glad to hear and learn about you as someone who, in my mind only is becoming an author in the future, loves to read and discovering new books.
So I am very curious what are the four languages that you speak?
Also I know there is no ideal anything, work or in life..but close to ideal what is your "perfect" book that you would pick up and read right this second? Or recommended to someone to read?

xx

Hi Antonella, oh wow, those are some darn good questions. My parents probably wanted me to work for some embassy, so learning languages was a big thing in my family. I got tutoring early on and now I get to practice because I'm a perpetual nomad.

At this moment in time I'm in Spain for another month, then off to Germany and summer in Austria. Due to the nature of my job I now work remotely and I'm at that age when I can travel the world while I'm at it :)

I very much enjoy adventure, romance and witty humor... but with a little pizzazz, a little magic, a little something out of this world (because we get too much real life these days). Ilona Andrews or Cassandra Clare are fine examples and I'm sure they'd have something to delight your senses.

And I'd actually like to return that question. What are a few books I should get my hands on? I'm just craving another story to fall in love with. And why not, if you're up for it, I'd love to interview you regarding your reading preferences for my blog.

Sounds fun?

Sure. Sound like my kind of fun. Talking about books. I love talk books as my friends in my real life don't read so I love Goodreads and all the friends I made here so I wouldn't pass a chance to talk books ...never ;)
As we are in New Adult book club I would recommend everyone one of my favorite reads this year in that subgenre The Simple Wild And I absolutely agree about Ilona Andrews and always recommend their books.

"I very much enjoy adventure, romance and witty humor... but with a little pizzazz, a little magic, a little something out of this world (because we get too much real life these days)."

This sounds like my kind of read. And Kate Daniels is my absolute favorite heroine ever.

English is not my first or even second language. So deutch ist etwas das haben wir gemein.. But I am a bit rusty...

I would assume that perpetual nomad is good thing especially for an author. Oh the inspiration.
What was the biggest culture shock so far? Where do you wish to travel in the future?
Oh and I will check the blog...

Yaay! I'll PM you on Goodreads asap and we can get started from there. I'll definitely check out your recommendations as I plan on going on a reading spree soon.

The perpetual nomad life has its ups and downs, but on the bright side, I found a lot of beauty in the variety of multicultural friendships. You learn so many things when you experience life as an expat, it's unbelievable. After a while though, you do get itchy feet and find it hard to stay in one place when the world is so big and there's so much to explore.

The culture shock topic is one of my faves and I had my fair share of it. Personal space for example - where I come from you stop at an arm's length from the person you're talking to, you hug and wave your friends hello when you meet and you shake hands when meeting someone new.

Depending on the country the greeting protocol can be somewhere between two and three kisses... but that's not all. Sometimes you start with the right cheek, sometimes with the left. More than once, I've accidentally met my greeting party in the middle bumped heads or kissed lips because I'd forgotten which way I was supposed to lean.

Tipping is also very different in Europe. While I haven't seen it included in the check, some countries welcome it and some don't.

I could speak about cultural differences until the cows come home, but wouldn't want to bore you out of your head LOL.

Hi Nicole, I'm currently making progress on Found in Amber, which is the sequel of Lost in Amber. It should be published in a few months and I already have some interesting ideas for the next cover.

Found in Amber unfolds to reveal a scheme of cosmic proportions that promises to shake the moral values of Zoey, Jasper and all the parties involved. I'm counting on the witty humor, romance and adventure to turn this story into a nice sequel.

Fingers crossed!
Are you a Paranormal Romance fan, Nicole?

Grace Do you listen to music when you write? If so what type?

Hi Grace and thanks for the question. Although I prefer writing in total seclusion and silence, I do stop and listen to music in between breaks. I'm a massive fan of Jason Mraz and Imagine Dragons.

I even found two songs that describe my characters to perfection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdpWF... and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7_Hg...

What do you enjoy listening to? I'm all eyes if you'd like to send me some links to your faves :)

Hi there and thank you for your question Tania :)

That's almost impossible to answer because I absolutely love so many. Right now I'm reading Stephen King's ON WRITING. It's about his experiences and struggles as a writer while sharing advice about the craft of writing for the upcoming author.

One of the many reasons I love Stephen King is the fact that he doesn't beat around the bush. The man says is like it is with a zero bullshit policy. THE STAND made me fall in love with King and I recommend it to all fans of the genre. It's a far cry from what I write (Paranormal Romance) but such a great example of impeccable wordbuilding and creating suspense.

What are some of your favorite books?
