Sristy (sweet_annihilation) I would really like recommendations for
šŸŽ‡An Urban Fantasy with a real kickass heroine and not the (āš ļøSarcasm
alertāš ļø) strong teenager heroine.
šŸŽ‡Heroine must NOT be physically expendable- She should have
defence/fighting skills/
šŸŽ‡Heroine must ABSOLUTELY NOT be all mushy-goey-eyed-In any
circumstance
šŸŽ‡If a romantic sub-plot exits, it's well and good.
šŸŽ‡But the book must not be in Third Person POV
(Only first-person Point of view).

Help Me 😪😪😄
My recent reads are really not good.
My Read-books actually series best pertaining to this list would be-
Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews
Vampire's Kiss (Legion of Angels #1) by Ella Summers
Burn for Me (Hidden Legacy, #1) by Ilona Andrews
Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill
Storm Born (Dark Swan #1) by Richelle Mead
Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost This was good but this became plain cheezzy later.
Touch of Frost (Mythos Academy, #1) by Jennifer Estep This was also fairly good

Nerdy Werewolf (nerdywerewolf) Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane -Lots of cursing and drugs, heroine appears less-than-others, but surprises you.

I'll see if I can think of more.

Amyiw | 86 comments OK, UF strong heroine, 1st person, NOT YA (I agree with that request)

Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs is one of the top series. My favorites with Kate Daniels

I thought Chicagoland went to cheese too (a little too close to YA at points with her "friend". With friends like that, who needs enemies). I actually held on to Night Huntresss better.

Lot's of people love
Skinwalker (Jane Yellowrock, #1) by Faith Hunter , and fits your request, I just like it
I love her spin off
Blood of the Earth (Soulwood, #1) by Faith Hunter better and Yellowrock is not essential for the first 3 books. Also fits you request.

I loved
My Life as a White Trash Zombie (White Trash Zombie, #1) by Diana Rowland , which fits but not everyone likes zombies. The audio narrator is great.

and
Kindling the Moon (Arcadia Bell, #1) by Jenn Bennett great too.

If you are willing to go 3rd person
Mercy spin off
Alpha and Omega (Alpha & Omega, #0.5) by Patricia Briggs is great, you have to start with the novella though, she starts a beaten down wolf but really grows into her own.

and also 3rd person and a favorite but not a fighting heroine. She does take up for herself as she learns the world she lives in.
Written in Red (The Others, #1) by Anne Bishop

Herman I have the perfect selection for you but I’m not going post the cover image on my phone and that’s too much a hassle but I strongly recommend author Bruce Lee Bond’s Lorelei series historical fiction of a supernatural creature the last daughter of Lilith, as she helps out women in the Klondike gold fields of northern Canada in 1899 in ā€œTreasure of the Nightā€ or in San Francisco in 1906 in ā€œThe Broken Coastā€ or in Hollywood in 1920 in ā€œGirls gone Southā€ all excellent books
