2014 Reading Olympics discussion

As one of the oldest sports in the Olympics, gymnastics will test your knowledge of the past...more specifically, past books...as in classics. There. I said it. The dreaded word that everyone usually avoids. We will be testing your knowledge of classics. The first country to successfully identify each of the following quotes from classical pieces of literature will receive the gold medal!
