luisa Hey everyone! Glad you liked An Ember In The Ashes, Syl! I wanted to read this series for the longest time but whenever I plan on picking it up I’m just not in the mood :D but I’ll definitely get to it eventually. What about everyone else? Any of you have some suggestions? :)

message 2: by Meri (new)

Meri Thanks for the recommendation, Syl! Just added it to my tbr list. Hope you're enjoying the sequel just as much as the first one!

The last book I read that I loved was Marriage for One by Ella Maise. Incredibly sweet story! And I would generally recommend Colleen Hoovers books to all of you if you haven’t tried her yet!

Luisa, you said previously that you like slow burn romances, I think Mariana Zapata does a great job with her books in this area. You may enjoy reading those :) (The Wall of Winnipeg and Me is my personal favorite of hers)

luisa Hey Meri! Thanks for the recommendations :) I wanted to read something by Colleen Hoover for the longest time now but I never know which one to start with :D And oh my god, I loved Kulti by Mariana Zapata so I’ll definitely try The Wall Of Winnipeg if you say it’s slow burn and you liked it!!

Danielle Marx Thanks for the recommendation, Syl. Just put An Ember in the Ashes on my tbr. Is it YA?

Last book I finished was Secrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas. Gave it 4 stars. It was my first regency romance and it didn't disappoint. Looking forward to the rest in the wallflower series.

Currently reading Eirik by Joanna Bell. Love me some alpha vikings ;)

ALANA @Syl's review of An Ember in the Ashes" was so passionate, makes me want to give it a try.

hmm..I looked up what Regency Romance is and it sounds very interesting.

ALANA Haven't been able to read at all lately so busy....but just started The Girls at 17 Swann Street. Luisa says its good....

message 7: by luisa (new)

luisa Hey Alana! Yeah, I really liked the book but it’s definitely more sad than fun :) hope you’ll enjoy it anyway!!

message 8: by Danielle (new)

Danielle Marx So I finally picked up a book. I've been in the worst reading slump. I'm halfway through Wind Chime Cafe by Sophie Moss. Super cutesy. Just what I needed.
What's everyone else reading at the moment? :)

message 9: by luisa (new)

luisa Sounds fun, Lauren! I hate reading slumps so I’m glad you made it out of yours :) I’m currently not reading anything because I’m on vacation in France!

message 10: by Danielle (new)

Danielle Marx Ooh France! I'm so jealous. I bet the weather has been gorgeous for you?

message 11: by luisa (new)

luisa Yes, actually. It was really nice at first but these past few days were insufferable - it’s way too hot :D is anyone of you away on summer vacation? :)
