Feel free to recommend as many supernatural books as you like below!
Please only recommend Middle Grade books. (Because this is a middle grade group and I know people will benefit more if the books are only middle grade.)

Please clearly label your recommendation(s) from other comments you might make like “I love that book” or “I’m reading that book right now”, etc.

Please use book links like: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone or Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling to help people navigate around GR to find the book(s) easily.

Please include some extra details on the book (if it’s part of series, if it’s part of other genres, etc.)

Challenge: Describe why you like the book in 5-8 words!

Isaac Toit (isaac_du_toit) I would recommend this book.

Seven Ghosts Seven Ghosts by Chris Priestley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I did not see the ending coming. This is a spooky and slightly mysterious story about a boy called Jake who goes on a tour in a magnificent old stately home called Grimstone Hall but not everything is as it appears. The house is haunted by seven spirits each with there own tale to tell. This is a fabulous short novel by Chris Priestley.

@Syd preferably middle grade only but if you clearly state it’s YA and not MG then it’s fine why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ more good books for people to find!

I could recommend some good ya supernatural books if people want! I don’t read nearly enough supernatural or creepy mg books😞

AurorainBookland | 750 comments Grounded for All Eternity (The Grounded, #1) by Darcy Marks 4 stars, there's now a sequel so perfect for October aka spooky season if your into that kind of thing, it's super fun and not really scary. So kind of a cozy spooky genre if that exists. Put this in fantasy recs too. Cuz it has angels and magic.

AurorainBookland | 750 comments Ghost Town (Saranormal, #1) by Phoebe Rivers I read the 1st one and liked it

On my TBR so this list is more full so people can use it for their October TBR, usually I'm not into this genre so the fact that there's this many is surprising

Ghost Squad by Claribel A. Ortega

The Spirit Glass by Roshani Chokshi

Haru, Zombie Dog Hero by Ellen Oh

Jennifer Chan Is Not Alone by Tae Keller

Has Anyone Seen Jessica Jenkins? by Liz Kessler
