Neverending TBR Corner discussion

I hope everyone is enjoying the series so far. I know I am. I can't wait to hear more thoughts and I can't wait to see where the author is taking Cinder and Scarlet. Our wonderful and strong female leads.

This isn't a spoiler free area. So readers can discuss everything and anything about Cress. But not the other books in the series. Of course! Haha.

This series is SO fun! I am a little over halfway finished with Cress. I feel like with Cress that I'm getting to know the characters better than I did before. Like now I feel that Thorne has started to show his true colors without the bravado and we can see how he is starting to care more about his crew. Also, we can see how much Scarlet truly means to Wolf.

I am loving this new character. Cress is so adorable and I can't wait to see where the author takes her. Her backstory is introduced a bit and I can't believe what she has been through. To my surprise, Sybil is considered the "witch" in this book. Was not expecting it to be Sybil at all. I honestly forgot all about her until now.

What is Sybil putting into Cress's arm? Why is she taking blood? This part kinda confuses me and makes me a bit uncomfortable as well. I'm super super curious and I can't get that thought out of my mind. I also love how Cress is like fan girling over Thorne. I can't wait for them to meet and start awkwardly flirting. I know Thorne will love her. And I love the way he reacted when he first saw her. It was so cute and funny.

Cress is awesome! The author has done a good job showing Cress' view of her surroundings and how she views the other members of their crew.

When Cress got taken away from the hotel with Jina I had hoped it was to take her to Dr. Erland. I am glad this was the case and am hoping Dr. Erland will reveal that he is Cress' father soon. I also hope Thorne gets his sight back!

I'm on page 394 now and looking forward to seeing how the wedding plan unfolds!

I finished Cress! Wow. The ending was so crazy!

I am so sad about Dr. Erland. Scarlet had a horrible time in this book and I hope she will be rescued soon.

I am also getting impatient with Cress and Thorne!

Iko as an escort is great. She's such a fun character!

I finished Cress and liked the story. Adventure was great! Characters could be a bit deeper, I feel like there would be something missing. Well Iko is great! And it was very touching when Dr. Erland said goodbyes... I think the book was a bit too long because there was quite much "nothing happening" first. Chapters were short and it was disturbing when the story jumped through different characters. But the second half was better when all were in the same place.

Just found out about Cress being Dr. Erland's daughter. OMG. I can't believe it. I am really excited to see where this is going. And what Princess Winter has in part of all this. Is she on Levana's side? Or Cinder's? I can't wait for them to rescue Scarlet already. Poor Scarlet.. poor Wolf.

Oh my gosh!! This book is just amazing! I love this series so much. I cried so hard when Dr. Erland told Cress he was her father. I was shocked! I also can't believe the awful things Scarlet is going through. Hasn't she been through a lot already? It's just insane right now. But I am glad that Cinder and Kai finally hooked up. And I can't wait for Cinder to keep Levana's butt. Hopefully Princess Winter becomes helpful.

I notice now when I've read other books after Cress how much I miss The Lunar Chronicles. Stories, action and world are amazing.
Too shame that Princess Winter wasn't really promising character for the next book. She was quite weird. But it's nice to go back to the world ^-^

OMG. This book is awesome. I cant wait to see how the whole series ends. It's going to be sooo good. I'm glad Kai and Cinder kissed. It's about time. also when the Doctor told Cress that he was her father was so sad and then he died singing the song made my heart hurt.

I KNOW!! I was crying!! And I was reading this during my lunch break at my desk and argh I couldn't stop crying. It was so sad. My employees thought I was having bad allergies because of my red eyes. I didn't think this series was going to give me such feels. But it did. Honestly I would love to re-read this as well haha.
