FoCo Readers discussion

After 2 years of sleeping, the Wolverine Book Club is waking from it's hibernation. We have scheduled our first discussion for Tuesday, July 30th at the Publick House at 7pm. We're picking a longer book to start so are giving extra time to read it. After July, the WBC will meet monthly (the last Tuesday of every month). What books do you want to read??

We picked the first book because it's on many of our to-read lists, it just won a Pulitzer, and it's recently out in paperback. The book is: THE OVERSTORY BY RICHARD POWERS!! We'll have copies at Wolverine soon, but feel free to visit Old Firehouse or the library if you want to get reading now!

I just ordered a copy of Michael Kranish's new book about Major Taylor after listening to a wonderful interview with him. Maybe that could be an interesting/divergent read after this one?
