Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) This month should be interesting since we will be reading a book that is based on a true story. Here is a link of some possible books: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

while The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald was informative and (mostly) unbiased, the main body of the book was quite brief; most of the pages consisted of reproductions of reports and interviews of the investigating bodies. the main thing the book had to contribute to the situation was a follow-up as to how safety changes recommended in the wake of the tragedy have or have not been implemented. a good book overall, and a quick read, but not quite what I had expected.
