Michael Jensen (michaeljensen) Has anyone read this? It looks intriguing and is featured on Pixels of Ink today. I tried Seed, but couldn't finish it so would def like to hear what some of the group thinks. Thanks!

Michelle (lifeasabooknerd) | 42 comments I read it. I thought it was pretty good. Creepy and a nice quick scary tale. I loved Seed. I wouldn't say this was AS good, but it was still interesting. And not gory, just eerie and atmospheric.

Michael Jensen (michaeljensen) Hmm, Seed annoyed because I didn't buy that the father would act that while his daughter was suffering what he suffered. But The Shuddering does look like my kind of book...

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Loved Seed, but I think The Shuddering is kind of predictable. I think maybe I've read one two many books about the pretty lady with a great smile who loves to bake and sew but is really a psychopath underneath. It's well written, but just nothing that grabbed me.

Michael Jensen (michaeljensen) I perused more reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads and I think it will be a pass for me. Just too many books clamoring for my attention to ignore the warning bells on this one. I still have Seed on my kindle, but as I said before, I just got too frustrated by the dad's behavior.
