I ended up reading The Way We Were: Remembering Diana by Paul Burrell. I knew she died in August, but didn't know exactly when. I started on her death date.
In some ways the book is intersting, but there are many things that I'm not impressed with in his style. He wants to tell you but may not mention a name. Really? If you are going to tell the story then tell it.
Who is the silver fox?
Who was the painting commissioned for?

Diana's death was deeply troubling to me, I recall getting up in the middle of the night to watch the BBC coverage, being on the phone with a friend who was also up watching. Such poise & grace , yet so troubled. Someday I will find the "right" book that tells her story. Clearly this one was not it. Thanks, Mel for saving me the trouble!
Been busy and reading non-books or at least stuff not findable here on Goodreads.
I just finished a short story collection called FlashCity Stories - Vol. 1 which are actually super short stories about 1,000 words hence flash. These stories are cyberpunk in style. I actually backed this project as a Kickstarter and would start reading get distracted and never finish the collection well tonight I finished vol1. ;-)

I don't know that it's apocalyptic or alternate history; I'm reading
, a future where America has failed and China is the pre-eminent power.
I just got the good read app, trying to figure it out. I've been reading the Stephanie Plum books, think I'm on nine and just finished Divergent. Waiting for the next book in that series.

I loved the Divergent series - more so than Hunger Games. Not giving anything away. Many people do not like the ending, but I honestly thought it showed Triss' character. Also the last paragraph was probably the best ever for the ending of a trilogy.

I've been listening to the Count of Monte Cristo at work through Librivox. David Clark has an amazing voice. However, it didn't all download on my phone so I found an audiobook I got a book sale a several years ago and listened to it. Diana's Boys by Christopher Anderson. I love his stlye of writing - very quick reads. However, it is funny because they are talking about Wills and Harry in 2001. Wills has since gotten married and become a father. This had to believing that he would marry a blonde. There were several things like that which made me chuckle. What I did appreciate was Diana was in a positive light, but as was Charles.

Ronald has also been reading the Stephanie Plum books. They are fun, but quite similar. I find them to be a nice little escape. I'm waiting for the next one to come out.
Ranger or Morelli?

Picked up Skeletons at the Feast by Chris Bohjalian. Last year I read Double Bind by him and found it to be fresh and interesting. This book takes place at the end of WWII. I'm excited.
I just finished a book on Half Marathon training. I should just skip over to Full Marathon since I'm going to try doing that on my own after November 2.
Finished Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt and will be starting What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions. I saw Randall Munroe on Colbert of all places and like the xkcd comic so I thought I would give the book a read.
I'm close to finishing Skeletons at the Feast by Chris Bohjalian.
It is near the end of WWII and talks about traveling to get away from the Russian invasion with a British POW. It's a decent book.

Just finished Volume 3 of the Walking Dead graphic novel. Quite a bit of difference from the TV series, but quite enjoyable.
