I have not read The Sandcastle Empire, but I am excited about This Splintered Silence. The premise sort of reminds me of Lauren James' The Loneliest Girl in the Universe, which I enjoyed when I read it for another book club earlier this year. Also, Kayla Olson lives in Austin! I'm actually pretty excited for this one because I like both space operas and mysteries. I'm hoping that this one is as good as it sounds!

This Splintered Silence is the second book for author Kayla Olson, following her 2017 publication The Sandcastle Empire. This book is a mystery in space, sure to be out of this world! (Pun intended.)
Have you read The Sandcastle Empire? What do you think of the book for this month?
