Welcome to the Second Chance Challenges group!

How the Group Came About
Back in 2012 Cherie started SCC as a way to give challenge participants a "second chance" if you will, at completing some of the great challenges she and others were encountering here on Goodreads. As she pointed out, most challenges at that time had deadlines, so you were given only a specific start and end date. She wanted to go beyond that, and give others a place to work on challenges that they may have missed out on.

My goal is to keep within the spirit of which the group was founded, and also to keep moving forward, with the hopes that this group will once again be as active as it was in the beginning.

You will see a few changes, but not many. Things will be re-organized just a little bit, but the spirit of the group and the foundation, I hope to keep remaining the same.

POSTING CHALLENGES:

First - and most important: Members may NOT post challenges.

Most of the challenges you will see here are borrowed from other groups here on Goodreads. They are borrowed with permission, and credit given to the appropriate person and group. If you see a challenge in another group that you would like to be re-posted here in SCC, please message me here through Goodreads so that I can contact the appropriate party to gain permission to do so. We want always to treat challenge creators, members, and Moderators with respect, and to give credit where credit is due.
