Maeve uses her skills to figure out how to find the safe combination, opens it and makes the decision to secretly take the money. Did you think at that moment it was the right thing to do? Why or why not?

I thought Maeve was very smart to be able to find the combination to the safe and open it. I was just surprised that she took all of the money. I figured she would just taken enough to pay the lawyer and pay for the bail.

I wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do at the time given that I believed in Una’s interest. But, Maeve is sharper than I am at these things and knew to be suspicious of that woman. In retrospect, she was absolutely right in securing that money until Pollock’s murder was solved.

Yes, this showed real initiative and intelligence on Maeve's part.
