Hello hello! Quite late in the week here we are with the first post about ADSOM! Just a couple of questions if you feel like responding and discussing the first part of the book.
- If this is your first time reading the book, what do you think of the world building and the magical system so far? If you’re rereading, are you just as emotional as me rediscovering how it all started again?
- What is/was your first impression of Kell, Lila and Rhy?
Personally, I fell in love with the setting of this book right away. As soon as Kell stepped from one London to another I was sold. The idea of parallel Londons and the ability to travel through them was what made me pick up the book in the first place.
About the characters, I can’t really be objectives because I’ve read the whole series already and I know how their stories go. Just know that I loved Rhy since the first time he appeared on the page and I would protect him to the end of my days. Lila and Kell, I found interesting right away, but it took me more time to decide what I’ve thought about them (spoiler alert: I love them too, even if for vastly different reasons).
