Book to Movie Support Group discussion

Hey Everyone!

So I think that it would be super fun if we maybe did a book to movie read-a-long in the month of July! If you're interested, I started a poll to maybe choose what book to movie adaptation we should pick that's on the home page.

I've kinda been absent from this group due to work/school, but I have a lot more free time now and I think it would be really fun to start maybe a monthly read/watch a long where we pick a book and then watch the movie and talk about all the good and bad things we noticed happening. I don't know if anyone else is interested, but if you are then let me know because I'd love to talk more about it with you!

Hello everyone! So, we have a book picked for the month of July and it is (drumroll please).....The Princess Bride! Go ahead and start reading, and at the end of the month we can talk about all our favorite (and least favorite) parts of the book, movie, and adaptation!

What did the movie do better than the book?
What did the book do better than the movie?
Overall, how successful do you think the adaptation was?
