OLD KINGDOM | Hot Key Read-along discussion

I have been introduced to the series back in 2005 and I am in love with it since then; I have been waiting to start reading it again. I expect this time to be magical reading...

First read and I see Lirael is one of the Clayr, great to see more of this group, I enjoyed the brief introduction to the two paperwing pilots in the first. Although maybe if this book sticks too closely to Lirael's POV we could end up getting a bit time confused yesterday!
I would def like to see more of Sabriel, Touchstone and Mogget and it would still be good to see the goings on at Sabriel's school, I liked how we went back there at the end of the last book but I'm interested to see a bit more of the aftermath.

I remember when I first read this and I LOVED the setting at the beginning of the book. Especially the library ( hope that's not actually a spoiler!) I also remember really liking Lirael as a character, so it'll be like old friends meeting again to remember adventures all over!

My first time through this book I almost put it down! I was so upset at the beginning and didn't know it was going to be about a different character until I stated reading. (That's what you get for going in blind I suppose) I was just so sad it wasn't about Sabriel! Eventually I did get over that and enjoyed the book and all of its characters a great deal.

First time reading Lirael, loved Sabriel so looking forward to reading this book :)
