Concealed in Death discussion

I am so happy that JD Robb has created a strong woman character here. I am so sick of heroines that are wishy-washy, doubt themselves constantly, are afraid to offend. I love Eve Dallas' character! Finally a woman author who writes of a strong woman!

I agree. Another strong heroine is DD Warren in Lisa Gardner's series. And Denise Mina has written a fine series featuring Alex Morrow, another strong female lead.

Eve is a really strong heroine. So is Kate, the heroine of the UF Magic series by Ilona Andrews. I also like Mercy Thompson, the heroine from the UF Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs (if you're into UF!)

The 'Three Sisters Island Trilogy' by Nora Roberts also has a pretty strong heroine in the second book specially.. Ripley Todd is confident and fun! Mia Devlin in the third part is also made up of strong stuff!
