Hello Penny...I think the thing that everybody wants to know (or is it just me:) )
Elizabeth's ravioli or Marie's coconut cake?
God, I want to ask you so many questions and this what I come up with...
Okay, how about this:
1. did you wrote poetry in
? 2. what do you drink when you knit?
3. have we met hero or heroine from Fundamentals of Biology before?
Can't wait for October and Claire & Billy's book...and btw. thank you for releasing it so close together. You are a true ninja...
Hi Penny, just a quick question...Did you know all of Janie's random facts before writing Neanderthal Seeks Human or did you have to google/research random facts?Love your work and thanks for writing. 😍😍😍
Hi Penny! What made you decide to start publishing other authors’ books? How do you pick which to publish? I read all your books so I’m sure I’ll read all that you publish as well. :) Thanks!
Hi Penny, No question, just a note of thanks! Motion was my intro to your books and I really liked it! I am of course on to Space and OMG 😳😳😳💔💔💔😪😪😪 I couldn't put it down! I was up late last night sobbing quietly as I read, thinking about the question "what book made you ugly cry" this one was it for me so far this summer! Wow, a heartfelt thanks for making this the top of my favorite list, I can't wait to finish Mona and Abram's story and explore more of your books. 💖💖💖
Hey Penny! Thank you so much for your amazing, smarty-pants books. I am re-reading the Winston brothers' series in preparation of Billy's story and taking notes on some pieces of information that I haven't had the time to appreciate before 'coz you know, I want to know what happens next haha. I love that you speak romance in a unique way. Looking forward to more book babies from you. Kudos and Go get it, girl!
Question: What is your favorite book/books and why?
I gobbled up three of your books in one night and it all started with the free book for June - Motion!! I absolutely needed to read everything else before I started this one.I freaking loved everything about Martin and Kaitlyn's story arc in the Elements of Chemistry series and wanted to know how it was to write for those two. I know the story is from Kaitlyn's perspective which was comical and also felt very raw at the same time, but I feel like I got enough of Martin to catch his story even when our protagonist was oblivious. It was so interesting to see both of the characters fumble and overcome their own insecurities and hurtful behavior without changing the core of who they are and were to each other. Was that difficult to do? As an author, do you have to constantly remind yourself to insert character flaws or are these faults integral to your character creation process and come naturally when you're writing for them?
Thank you for the chance to read the start of this new series. I truly enjoyed every part of the first and have recommended it to sooooo many friends already lol. I feel like I'm a Hypothesis groupie already.

This is an easy one Elizabeth's ravioli for dinner and Marie's coconut Cake for dessert ;-)
1. I did write the poetry in Beauty and the Mustache... but AS DREW! I cannot write poetry. However, he can.
2. TEA. Specifically peppermint, the most superior tea.
3. I've decided to remove the Fundamentals of Biology from my release schedule. This is for a couple of reasons, but I'm excited to start some new series instead!

I did research a lot of the facts, however many of them came from Mr. Reid. A boundless resource for interesting random facts.

I used to manage a biomedical research team and realized I missed mentoring people. This was the driving force behind Smartypants Romance for me. We read through the submissions and decide which would be a good fit for the Penny Reid universe. I'm so excited about it... I'M SO EXCITED!!!

I'm so glad you enjoyed Kaitlyn and Martin's story! When I'm writing my characters it's important to me that they act like actual humans would act. Therefore, they are flawed (As you noticed). I wouldn't say that this is specifically part of my character creation process because I treat my characters like real people and real people are flawed. This is a fantastic question!

Will you ever write another series along the lines of The Winston Brothers? it doesnt have to be woven into their stories...although it would be cool. I just love your southern boys. You write so well!

Lucky you. My hubby's random facts generally centre around anything sports related. Unfortunately, this is of very little use to me as I'm not really a fan of sports. Luckily, my youngest son LOVES random facts. I love that he wants to share each and every new fact with me...well, most of the time I love it. ;-)
