Erunyauve | 167 comments 1. Probaby a toss between Jodi Picoult's 'Small Great Things', 'The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle' and Jane Harper's 'The Dry'.
2. 'The Dry'? Properly more of a mystery-type book than 'Evelyn Hardcastle'.
3. It seems like my favourite authors mainly publish toward the end of the year. Looking forward to Christopher Fowler's 'The Lonely Hour' from his brilliant Bryant and May series, and I think Deborah Crombie's new book is finally set to drop in October?

I should have noted - 'The Lonely Hour' is already out in the UK, but I really prefer to read on Kindle, so I'm waiting for the US release. (It'll be a nice thing to enjoy during the holiday season, too.)

AngryGreyCat (angrygreycatreads) | 554 comments Mine are
1) London Rules (Slough House, #5) by Mick Herron This series, Slough House, just seems to get better as it goes along
2) London Rules is a crime/mystery book as well but if I have to pick another I would say Taking Pity (Aector McAvoy, #4) by David Mark This is another series that in my mind just seems to be getting better
3) I have been trying to get caught up on my TBR so I've not really been looking ahead to one particular book, but I have this on my nightstand and want to get started on it but I have too many library books out. I am really looking forward to reading it: A Glass of Blessings by Barbara Pym
